# of Coats: One coat application. If applying more than one coat, wait at least 20 minutes between applications.

PenaShield® Penetrating Fungicide, Termiticide and Preservative is a ready-to-use, borate-based wood treatment designed to eliminate and prevent termites, carpenter ants, wood-boring beetles, and decay fungi. This water-soluble formula includes proprietary penetrants that enable fast, deep diffusion into wood for thorough protection.
PenaShield is ideal for use on decks, fencing, woodworking projects, wooden playsets, sheds, and more. It can also be applied to roof decking once old shingles have been removed. Use PenaShield on pressure-treated lumber or older wood after it has been properly cleaned. Always apply PenaShield before sealing or painting. When used as directed on the label, it is suitable for protecting any bare wood you want to preserve long-term.
